My wonderful Husband and I

My wonderful Husband and I....we're actually really tired, not drunk like the pic looks πŸ™‚

Okay….give me awhile and I will put something here….I’m too busy trying to follow through with my overly ambitious self-imposed challenge to complete 365 Stampin’ UP! projects in 365 days….but some day when the creative inspiration is blocked I will come back and fill you in on all the juicy details of who I am.

I am sure it will all start out like a great America autiobigraphy…..”I was born on a stormy night, deep in the hills of Arkansas”….and dramatically continue on from there. LOL..just kidding…. Β I am sure it wasn’t storming.. hahaha.

Hi Betty! Please allow me to introduce myself and tell you what a wonderful find you were on the internet. I just moved to New Jersey and having no friends here yet I am constantly stamping my heart out as a way to keep my mind busy. I just got married last year and there’s been lots of changes. Everytime I go on your web-site to see what day you are on it motivates me to do the same. No more excuses and I LOVE the new Gala Party DSP. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and tell you how wonderful all your posts are. My favorite being the business card holder. How do you make such gorgeous flowers?? I can almost smell them!

Thank you so much for your kind comment!! That motivates me to keep going πŸ™‚ I have slowed up a bit here lately with all my “family” stuff going on, but don’t worry….I still plan on completing this goal. In fact later today (or tomorrow) I will be posting an ENTIRE scrapbook that I have been working on the past 4 days. Since I want to offer the scrapbook as a kit I thought it better to not post any of the pages until it was complete πŸ™‚ Take care, keep crafting, and keep in touch!

      Hi Amy,
I just noticed I never answered your question about the flowers πŸ™‚ The flowers are made with the XL fancy flower punch (but you could used any 5 petal flower die cut…like the flower on the tropical island sizzix die, or something you cut out with a cricut….just make sure it is a BIG flower as it gets much smaller as you form it.) I thought I linked a tutorial for the flowers….If not “google” Fancy Flower Punch flower tutorial. Tons of people out there have made video and/or written instructions.

I am trying to find glassy glaze. Would you happen to have some to sell?

    • stampinbetty Says:

      Hi there,
Sorry for the delay in replying (started a full time job and went on vacation)…..Glassy Glaze is really UTEE (can be found in almost any craft store.) If you have any trouble finding it let me know as I buy it in large containers and would be happy to measure a smaller amount out to sell to you.

Do you have the instructions for making the father’s day suit card? I would appreciate receiving them πŸ™‚
