Projects 94-96 of 365: 3×3 Halloween Cards September 26, 2010

Next, I based these 3 small cards on the 3×3 cards made by “cindy89” over on the Stampin Up! Demonstrator site.  These cards are almost completely copied from her cards.  There are only minor changes…

Project 53 of 365: Friends Never Fade in Rich Razzleberry July 12, 2010

Besides loving the stamp set that is the focus of all of today’s projects (Friends Never Fade) I am soooooo in love with the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Emboss Folder.   Actually I’m in love with all the embossing folders.  I use them all the time!!  Of all the crafty things I have ended up “wasting” money on, the embossing folders are definitely NOT something I have any buyer’s remorse from.

What’s so great about the emboss folders is that you can use the textured paper in place of the expensive patterned paper.  You can brayer craft ink in the emboss folder to create textured and printed paper all-in-one.  And sometimes a simple card can just use a little texture.  If you browse back over my past projects you will start to notice my love affair with textures 🙂   (Whether it is with emboss folders, dimensionals, textured paper, embosslits, or heat embossing, textures just make the project.)

Project 37 of 365: Friends Never Fade Sneak Peak June 25, 2010

So yesterday I finally got the remainder of my Sneak Peak order, and I just had to break out this cute stamp set “Friends Never Fade.” I had already seen many cards made with this set, and knew that I also wanted to use the new Pear Pizzazz cardstock as well as the new Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  In the end I accidently cased a card I had seen on SplitCoast Stampers.  I am laughing at myself a bit on this one.  Often times I copy other people on purpose, but this time I must have just had this other card stuck in my mind.  The card I am talking about is by Jeannie Maier, and mine is slightly different, but close enough to being the same that I think I should give her credit 🙂

And check out the patterned paper on this one…..Isn’t it so cute?  It is another sneak peak from the new catalog and it’s called Greenhouse Gala.

Project 36 0f 365: True Friends eat Crumb Cake :)

Hi all….as promised I am back 🙂  The girls and I had a lot of fun brain storming ideas for our “Eclipse” hats, and even made a last minute run to Joann’s to get some extra pizzazz for the hats. Then pizza and movies, and tomorrow we will be hard at work manufacturing them 🙂  I will have to find something “Stampin Up” to add to them so I can justify adding them to this blog.  LOL!  Either way I will be sure to at least add a picture so you can see just how crazy we decide to go…

So this project is actually cased from page 108 of the 2010-2011 catalog.  (In case you are wondering…I just got 2 cases of the catalogs in today so if you want one be sure to contact me at betty.ray020@gmail.com, or leave me a comment including your email and I will contact you.) The only change I made was using Very Vanilla instead of Whisper White card stock.
