In the spirit of catching up…I’m going to post all these in big groups to get them up here for all to see.
I just have to say that I have fallen in love with the fact that I can put absolutely ANYTHING on a scrabble tile and make jewelry out of it. I’m making pins, magnets, key chains, bracelets, charms, pendant, necklaces…you name it. Even my husband has jumped on the bandwagon to give me ideas of what kinds of images his friends would like as pins….and he was right. He took a handful of them with him to the bar the other night and some of his friends even bought them. (then again maybe it was the alcohol or the political pins I had made for Wisconsin’s ridiculous political battles of the day, tis true, the political scientist I am is admitting that all these politicians have turned our government into a horrible game of who can trick whom the most, and it is very very sad!!)
All of the tiles in this post are Coca-Cola Images. Mostly from vintage ads I found on the internet. I’ve always been fascinated with their ads, so I thought they would make cute jewelry. I will try to post more close-ups as I have time 🙂
Projects 133-194 of 365: Coke Scrabble Tiles
Project 195 of 365: Coke Logo Bracelet
I am really loving this bracelet. When I was making these particular tiles I remembered I had these gorgeous red gemstones (I’m drawing a blank trying to remember what the stones are called), and I thought they would be a great way to accent the black and white images.
Project 196 of 365: Coke Swimsuit Bracelet
While browsing through all those vintage ads, I noticed how many swimsuit clad ladies adorned them. I guess ladies and swimsuits has always been the way to go to sell products. But there was just something that drew me to these ones….they are all “pretty” and not showing too much…

Well that should be enough Coke images to make you thirsty for an Ice Cold Coca Cola 🙂
